Bereits seit 1988 gibt es den Pressather Triathlon, was ihn zu einem der ältesten Veranstaltungen im BTV-Bezirk Oberpfalz macht.
Was vor über 30 Jahren mit 19 wagemutigen Sportlern begann, zieht mittlerweile bis zu 160 Ausdauersportler in die nördliche Oberpfalz nach Pressath ohne das "Familiäre Flair" zu verlieren.
