Bei unseren Veranstaltungen musst du einige Dinge verpflichtend dabei haben. Damit wollen wir sicherstellen, dass jeder für die Nacht, das Wetter und eventuelle Notfälle gewappnet ist.
Folgende Dinge gehören zur Mindestausrüstung:
Regen-/Sonnenschutz
Warme Kleidung (auch bei warmen Temperaturen, wenn du früh oder spät noch auf der Strecke unterwegs bist)
Smartphone & Powerbank
Stirn- oder Taschenlampe mit genügend Akkukapazität (wenn es während des Events dunkel wird)
Behälter für Snack-Annahme
Eigener Becher für Getränke-Annahme
Ausrüstung und Verpflegung – was brauche ich noch?
Neben der Mindestausrüstung beachte bitte, dass der Mammutmarsch trotz zahlreicher Snacks und Gastro-Angebote eine Selbstversorger-Veranstaltung ist. Plane deine Verpflegung also im Voraus und nimm ausreichend Nahrungsmittel mit.
Wasser bekommst du natürlich an jedem Verpflegungsposten, soviel du brauchst.
Außerdem solltest du in der Regel die folgenden Dinge dabei haben:
Wasserflasche/n oder Trinkblase (wir empfehlen 3 Liter Kapazität)
Geeignete eingelaufene Schuhe
Ein möglichst leichter Rucksack mit ausreichend Fassungsvermögen

Auf der ganzen Strecke haben wir vor allem viel Wasser und Natur für euch. Im Ziel entschädigen wir euch für alles mit einer Urkunde, hölzernen Medaille und einem gewebten Finisher-Band. Außerdem gibt es natürlich ein kühles Bier oder Radler (auch alkoholfrei) für euch, um eure Leistung zu feiern.

Terms and conditions of participation
1. scope and organizer
1.1 The following terms and conditions of participation apply to the event Mammutmarsch München / Starnberger See (42/55 KM) 2027 (hereinafter referred to as "event").
1.2 The organizer of the respective event is Mammutmarsch UG (hereinafter referred to as "organizer", "we" or "us").
1.3 The Terms and Conditions of Participation apply in the version valid at the time of registration and form part of the contract between the Organizer and the participants.
2. Registration, conclusion of contract, participation fees and services
2.1 The subject matter of the contract is the organization of the respective event in accordance with the published announcement.
2.2 Registration shall take place exclusively via the officially advertised registration systems up to the respective stated registration deadline and only as long as the maximum number of participants has not been reached.
2.3 The contract shall come into effect upon receipt of the registration confirmation by email.
2.4 If the maximum number of participants is reached before the registration deadline, the registration shall be closed prematurely. There is no entitlement to participation.
2.5 All information relevant to the event will be sent by email to the address provided during registration in good time before the event.
2.6 Registrations by minors or persons with limited legal capacity may only be made by their legal representatives. A consent and release from liability signed by the legal representative must be submitted before the start of the event. Participation or collection of event documents is only possible in the presence of a legal representative or upon presentation of a corresponding power of attorney.
2.7 The participation fee shown on the registration form shall apply. This fee and fees for additional services must be paid immediately after registration by SEPA direct debit or credit card.
2.8 Withdrawal by the participant - for whatever reason - or a no-show shall not entitle the participant to a refund of the participation fee or other fees. The same applies in the event of exclusion or disqualification.
2.9 Transfer of registration to third parties is excluded, unless otherwise stipulated in the invitation to tender. The collection of event documents by third parties is only possible with written authorization and presentation of the registration confirmation.
2.10 Cancellation of the event (force majeure): If the event cannot be held for reasons of force majeure or official order for which the organizer is not responsible (e.g. severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, terror, war), the starting or participation place can be transferred to a subsequent event, provided there is capacity. Alternatively, the participation fee will be refunded, but not the stated organizational and preparation costs.
2.11 Cancellation or modification of the event: If the event is canceled prematurely for the reasons stated in 2.10 or its implementation is changed (e.g. change of route, schedule adjustment, format change), there is no entitlement to a refund or compensation.
2.12 If the number of participants has to be reduced for official or safety-related reasons, admission will be granted according to the time of receipt of the registration. Affected participants will be informed immediately.
3. Eligibility, rules and health requirements
3.1 Any person who meets the requirements specified in the announcement (e.g. minimum age, qualifications) and is not subject to a participation or starting ban is eligible to participate.
3.2 By registering, the participant acknowledges the applicable event rules, implementation regulations and any relevant association or sports regulations, insofar as these are stated in the invitation to tender.
3.3 Participation is strictly personal. Passing on start numbers, participant IDs or access data will result in exclusion and possibly further sanctions.
3.4 The participant declares that he/she is in good health to take part in the event. In the event of health risks or signs of indisposition, participation must be refrained from or participation must be discontinued immediately.
3.5 In the event of known illnesses or health restrictions that require special medical care, participation is at the participant's own risk, unless expressly prohibited by the organizer in advance.
3.6 The participant is responsible for the proper, functional and safe condition of the equipment, materials or aids used.
3.7 Where provided, start numbers, participant identification or proof of access must be worn or used visibly, unchanged and in accordance with the event rules. Participation or classification may be excluded without valid identification.
3.8 Shortening routes, using unauthorized aids, unauthorized support from third parties and violations of applicable fair play, anti-doping or participation regulations are prohibited and will result in disqualification.
3.9 The instructions of the organizer, its employees and any auxiliary persons employed must be followed at all times.
3.10 On public traffic areas, the relevant legal regulations, in particular the Road Traffic Regulations (StVO), shall apply - irrespective of route safety or permits.
4. Disqualification and ban on participation
4.1 Violations of these Conditions of Participation, of event rules or of the organizer's instructions may result in exclusion or disqualification, in particular in the following cases
- unsportsmanlike or grossly disorderly conduct
- violations of rules or participation
- doping or manipulation violations
- unauthorized assistance
- passing on or manipulation of start numbers or participation entitlements
- shortening or unauthorized alteration of the route
- disregard of the organizer's instructions
4.2 The organizer is entitled to impose a temporary or permanent ban on participation in future events in the event of serious or repeated violations.
4.3 Results and rankings will be published. Objections must be made in text form within 24 hours of publication.
5. Image and sound recordings
5.1 Photographs, videos and sound recordings will be made as part of the event.
5.2 The participant agrees that these recordings may be used for editorial, documentary and commercial purposes without restriction in terms of time, space and content.
5.3 The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. In the case of minors, the consent of the legal representative is required.
6. Liability
6.1 The organizer is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as for injury to life, body or health.
6.2 In the event of a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
6.3 No liability is assumed for items, equipment or valuables brought along, unless there is intent or gross negligence.
7. Right of withdrawal
A right of withdrawal does not exist in accordance with § 312g para. 2 no. 9 BGB.
8. Data protection
8.1 The processing of personal data is carried out for the execution of the contract in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
8.2 Result lists and participant lists may - if relevant for the event - contain and be published in particular surname, first name, year of birth, gender, club/team, start number, placings or results.
8.3 Contact details will only be passed on to third parties with express consent.

9. Final provisions
9.1 The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
9.2 Should individual provisions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
Sonstiges
Strecke - Wie finde ich sie und wie sieht sie aus?
Beschaffenheit der Strecke
Wir legen jede Strecke so, dass Sie landschaftlich ansprechend und abwechslungsreich ist. Wir versuchen große Straßen zu meiden. In einem dichtbesiedelten Land wie Deutschland müssen wir natürlich manchmal Kompromisse eingehen. Wir suchen aber immer eine gute Mischung aus weichen Untergründen (Wald- und Feldwege) und Straßen/Schotterwegen.
Streckenfindung
Wir tun alles dafür, dass du dich im Grunde nicht verlaufen kannst. Am Start erhältst Du ausgedruckte Karten in einem Teilnehmerheft. Die ganze Strecke ist markiert und natürlich bekommst du die Strecke vorab in GPS-Form. Wir empfehlen unbedingt die Navigation per GPS. So kann im Grunde gar nichts mehr schiefgehen. Dein Handy oder GPS-Gerät lotst dich wie ein Navigationsgerät auch durch den finstersten Wald.
Vorbereitung - Wie schaffe ich den Mammutmarsch?
Welche Distanz?
Im ersten Schritt ist es natürlich wichtig, für welche Distanz du dich entscheidest. Wenn du noch gar keine Erfahrung mit Extremwanderungen hast, melde dich vielleicht erstmal für eine der kürzeren Distanzen an.
Wenn du dich gleich an unserer Königsdisziplin messen möchtest, bist du uns aber natürlich ebenso willkommen!
Training
Wandern wird oft noch nicht als wirklicher Sport gesehen. Nach einer Teilnahme beim Mammutmarsch erübrigen sich solche Diskussionen aber normalerweise.
Wandern ist Sport und beim Mammutmarsch verlangen wir euch alles ab. Wenn ihr also die gesamte Distanz schaffen wollt, solltet ihr vorher trainieren. Dabei könnt ihr die optimalen Schuhe und Socken finden, mit der Verpflegung experimentieren und euren Körper nach und nach auf längere Distanzen einstellen.
Wenn du dich für den 100-Kilometer-Marsch anmeldest, musst du vorher mindestens einmal 35 Kilometer im Training gewandert sein.
Streckenposten - Was erwartet mich unterwegs?
Anzahl/Orte
Auch bei unseren Streckenposten achten wir darauf, möglichst attraktive Orte auszuwählen. Wir mögen Orte am Wasser, Sportstätten und Vereinshäuser.
Die Anzahl hängt von der Distanz ab. Bei einem 100-Kilometer-Event bieten wir mindestens vier Streckenposten an, bei der 30-Kilometer-Distanz reichen zwei Posten aus.
Ausstattung
An jedem Streckenposten gibt es verschiedene Stationen und natürlich Toiletten. An den Stationen bekommst du Wasser und Snacks wie Bananen, Riegel, Gurken, Bouillon oder Schokobrötchen. Die genaue Verpflegung variiert von Event zu Event und wir versuchen immer etwas Abwechslung zu schaffen.
Wir haben auch fast immer einen oder mehrere Streckenposten dabei, an denen unsere Partner euch für kleines Geld warme Speisen oder Softdrinks servieren.
Unsere Sanitäter betreuen euch auf der gesamten Strecke. An den Streckenposten findet ihr aber in der Regel fest aufgebaute Unfallhilfestellen, an die ihr euch mit allen Beschwerden wenden könnt.
Sicherheit - Was ist, wenn ich die Strecke nicht schaffe?
Sicherheit hat bei uns allerhöchste Priorität. Wir stellen sicher, dass dir jederzeit Sanitäter oder Ärzte zur Seite stehen, falls du umknicken solltest oder andere Beschwerden hast. Außerdem sorgen wir dafür, dass du jederzeit aussteigen und nach Hause kommen kannst, wenn du nicht mehr weiterlaufen kannst oder willst.
Sanitätsabsicherung
Das Deutsche Rote Kreuz haben wir mittlerweile auf vielen Veranstaltungen in unterschiedlichen Landkreisen als uneingeschränkt kompetenten und professionellen Partner kennengelernt.
Gemeinsam mit dem DRK entwickeln wir für jede Veranstaltung ein umfassendes Sanitätskonzept mit mobiler Absicherung der Strecke und stationärer Absicherung aller wichtigen Orte. Auf vielen unserer Events unterstützen euch Krankenwagen, Motorrad- oder Fahrradstreifen, Unfallhilfestellen und Notärzte.
Ihr bekommt eine Notrufnummer, unter der ihr den Sanitätsdienst jederzeit erreichen könnt. Oft sind bis zu 80 Sanitäter für euch unterwegs. Ihr könnt euch also in sicheren Händen fühlen.
Auch die Leitstellen der Rettungsdienste werden natürlich in die Planungen eingebunden und stehen euch im Notfall zur Verfügung.
Ausstiegspunkte
Wir legen keine Mammutmarsch-Strecke, ohne auf der ganzen Strecke Ausstiegsmöglichkeiten zu schaffen. Wenn es mal keine öffentlichen Bahnhöfe oder Haltestellen gibt oder die Haltestellen zu bestimmten Uhrzeiten nicht regelmäßig angefahren werden, mieten wir große Linienbusse für euch an und bauen ein eigenes Shuttle-Netz auf.
Wir kümmern uns darum, dass ihr zu jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit zu einem großen Bahnhof kommt.
E-Mails und Informationen - Wann bekomme ich welche Infos?
Wir verstehen, dass ihr am liebsten direkt nach der Anmeldung alle wichtigen Informationen zur Veranstaltung bekommen würdet. Wir verschicken viele wichtige Informationen aber erst in den Wochen vor dem Event. Ihr braucht also nicht denken, dass wir euch vergessen hätten.
Das hat den Grund, dass wir zum Beispiel die konkreten GPS-Daten der Strecke erst dann veröffentlichen wollen, wenn wir mit 99%-iger Sicherheit sagen können, dass nirgendwo kurzfristig noch eine Baustelle entstanden oder ein Baum umgekippt ist.
Habt also bitte Geduld und vertraut uns, dass vor dem Marsch alle wichtigen Informationen und Links bei euch ankommen werden.
Ticket - Was ist, wenn ich nicht teilnehmen kann?
Natürlich kann immer eine Verletzung oder Krankheit dazwischen kommen. Schließlich meldet ihr euch oft viele Monate vor dem Veranstaltungstermin bei uns an.
Wenn ihr nicht am Marsch teilnehmen könnt, schreibt uns bitte per E-Mail (info@mammutmarsch.de) an und wir finden gemeinsam eine Lösung.
Bitte beachtet aber, dass eure Tickets personalisiert sind und nicht übertragen werden können. Wendet euch also bitte in jedem Fall an uns.
