Die Veranstaltung findet bei jeder Witterung statt.

Sollte die Wassertemperatur lt. Reglement „Schwimmen“ nicht zulassen, so behalten wir uns vor, die Schwimmstrecke zu verkürzen oder einen Duathlon zu veranstalten.

1. scope of application and organizer

1.1 The following conditions of participation apply to the event 10. Wuggi-Triathlon (hereinafter referred to as "event").

1.2 The organizer of the respective event is Bayronman e.V. (hereinafter referred to as "organizer", "we" or "us").

1.3 The Terms and Conditions of Participation apply in the version valid at the time of registration and form part of the contract between the Organizer and the participants.

2. Registration, conclusion of contract, participation fees and services

2.1 The subject matter of the contract is the organization of the respective event in accordance with the published announcement.

2.2 Registration shall take place exclusively via the officially advertised registration systems up to the respective stated registration deadline and only as long as the maximum number of participants has not been reached.

2.3 The contract shall come into effect upon receipt of the registration confirmation by email.

2.4 If the maximum number of participants is reached before the registration deadline, the registration shall be closed prematurely. There is no entitlement to participation.

2.5 All information relevant to the event will be sent by email to the address provided during registration in good time before the event.

2.6 Registrations by minors or persons with limited legal capacity may only be made by their legal representatives. A consent and release from liability signed by the legal representative must be submitted before the start of the event. The race number may only be collected in the presence of a legal representative or upon presentation of a corresponding power of attorney.

2.7 The participation fee shown on the registration form shall apply. This fee and fees for additional services must be paid immediately after registration by SEPA direct debit or credit card.

2.8 Withdrawal by the participant - for whatever reason - or a no-show shall not entitle the participant to a refund of the participation fee or other fees. The same applies in the event of exclusion or disqualification.

2.9 Transfer of registration to third parties is excluded. The collection of race numbers by third parties is only possible with written authorization and presentation of the registration confirmation.

2.10 Cancellation of the event (force majeure): If the event cannot be held for reasons of force majeure or official order for which the organizer is not responsible (e.g. severe weather, pandemics, terror, war), the starting place can be transferred to a subsequent event, provided there is capacity. Alternatively, the participation fee will be refunded, but not the stated organizational and preparation costs.

2.11 Cancellation or modification of the event: If the event is canceled prematurely for the reasons stated in 2.10 or its implementation is changed, there is no entitlement to a refund or compensation.

2.12 If the number of participants has to be reduced for official or security reasons, admission will be granted according to the time of receipt of the registration. Affected participants will be informed immediately.

3. Eligibility, rules and health requirements

3.1 Any person who meets the requirements specified in the announcement (e.g. minimum age) and is not subject to a starting ban is eligible to participate.

3.2 By registering, the participant acknowledges the applicable competition and association regulations of the DTU (German Triathlon Union), available at: https://www.triathlondeutschland.de/service/downloads

3.3 Participation is strictly personal. Passing on the start number will result in disqualification and possibly further sanctions.

3.4 The participant declares that he/she is in good health to take part in the event. In the event of health risks or signs of indisposition, participation must be refrained from or the race must be discontinued.

3.5 In the event of known chronic illnesses that require special medical care, participation is excluded unless prior written consent has been obtained from the organizer.

3.6 The participant is responsible for the proper and safe condition of the equipment used.

3.7 The start number must be visible, unchanged and worn in accordance with the competition rules. No timekeeping or scoring will take place without a race number.

3.8 Shortening the route, unauthorized aids, escorting by third parties and violations of anti-doping regulations are prohibited and will result in disqualification.

3.9 The instructions of the organizer, its employees and deployed assistants must be followed at all times.

3.10 The German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) apply to all traffic areas despite course safety.

4. Disqualification and starting ban

4.1 Violations of the conditions of participation, competition rules or instructions of the organizer may result in exclusion or disqualification, in particular in the case of:

  • unsportsmanlike conduct
  • rule violations
  • doping violations
  • unauthorized assistance
  • manipulation or passing on of the start number
  • shortening of the route
  • disregard of instructions

4.2 In the event of serious violations, the organizer may issue a starting ban for future events.

4.3 Results will be published online. Objections must be made within 24 hours of publication.

5. Image and sound recordings

5.1 Photographs, videos and sound recordings will be made during the event.

5.2 The participant(s) agrees that these recordings may be used for editorial and commercial purposes without restriction in terms of time, space and content.

5.3 The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. In the case of minors, the consent of the legal representative is required.

6. Liability

6.1 The organizer is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as for injury to life, body or health.

6.2 In the event of a slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract.

6.3 No liability is assumed for items brought along.

7. Right of withdrawal

A right of withdrawal does not exist in accordance with Section 312g (2) No. 9 BGB.

8. Data protection

8.1 The processing of personal data is carried out for the execution of the contract in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

8.2 Result lists may contain and be published surname, first name, year of birth, gender, club, start number and times.

8.3 Contact data will only be passed on with express consent.

9. Final provisions

9.1 The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.

9.2 Should individual provisions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
